Job Description

The Dealer Development Manager is responsible for leading the CNH Reman Field Sales Team in executing strategic partnerships with 1,800+ dealerships across North America. This role focuses on developing tools and resources to support sales reporting, goal setting, and team collaboration. Additionally, the Dealer Development Manager will actively support a sales region, model best practices, and provide coaching and development to build a high-performing sales team for the future.

  • Financial Performance: Achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.
  • Sales Metrics: Analyze and report sales activities to assess effectiveness and drive improvements.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Maintain and enhance dealer relationships, as reflected in Net Promoter Score (NPS) results.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales & Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, market share, and profitability while enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Dealer Engagement: Identify and implement market action plans to support underperforming dealers, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Competitive Market Positioning: Develop and execute strategies to address competitive market dynamics and strengthen CNH Reman’s presence.
  • Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with dealers and internal stakeholders on key initiatives to maximize business opportunities.
  • Sales Performance Management: Meet and exceed sales and profitability targets through structured sales initiatives and territory management.
  • Dealer Network Development: Establish a regular cadence of face-to-face engagements with top dealers and key dealer segments to strengthen relationships and drive business.
  • Marketing & Promotions Execution: Drive dealer awareness and engagement in ongoing and seasonal marketing and promotional programs.
  • Product & Market Intelligence: Provide competitive analysis, market-based pricing strategies, and value-driven product positioning.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Deliver regular performance updates and insights to leadership, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Sales & Training Support: Conduct internal and external sales training, coordinate logistics for sales events, and facilitate dealer outreach initiatives.
  • Customer & Industry Engagement: Represent CNH Reman at training sessions, customer events, and industry functions, ensuring strong brand advocacy.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Support all other business development initiatives to drive CNH Reman’s growth beyond annual targets.
  • This role demands strong leadership, analytical thinking, and strategic execution to elevate CNH Reman's growth beyond annual targets.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in business or a technical discipline required. Candidates with two years of related experience may substitute for each year of formal education.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of field sales experience in a manufacturing, agriculture, or construction environment.
  • Leadership: At least two years of supervisory experience required, demonstrating the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a proven ability to analyze, present, and leverage data for decision-making.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems , with preference for Syteline Version 10 .
  • Industry Knowledge & Passion:
  • Strong understanding and appreciation for the agricultural and heavy equipment industries .
  • Familiarity with construction dealer networks and their operational dynamics.
