Data Center Design Program Manager - Onsite in Herndon, VA

Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking a Data Center Design Program Manager to work with one of our major e-commerce technology clients. This position onsite in Herndon, VA. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of data center design experience and excellent program management skills, collaborating with design engineers.

Pay: $97 - 106 per hour on W2

Duration: 18 month contract – with possible extension and/or conversion

Top 3 Skills

• Data Center Design experience – 5 years
• Managed projects in CA (Construction Administration) phrase – 5 years
• Michigan critical project experience and data center project experience – 5 years

Overview

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program.
• Oversees all aspects of projects/program.
• Managing all aspects of project execution including design development and construction administration processes as well as expertise in implementing and optimizing project management platforms such as Smartsheets, Procore etc. will be beneficial.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
• Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Leads and directs the work of others.

Preferred :

• Past industry preference – data center design
• PMP certification is a bonus

Degree or Certification :

• Bachelors Degree – (Engineering - Civil / Mechanical / Structural / Electrical / Architecture

Must be authorized to work in the United States
