Position: Data Analyst

Location: Southlake, TX (This role will be fully onsite)

Salary: $70,000 to $90,000 + Bonus %

In this role, you’ll tackle gray-area data challenges—think unstructured data cleanups, systematic monthly billing reconciliations, and creating new SQL queries daily to support client invoicing. You’ll spend about half your day writing and validating SQL queries, ensuring billing accuracy and reconciling data between vendors and clients. Your work will provide a clear audit trail for how invoicing is set up and maintained.

This isn’t a machine learning or predictive modeling role—it’s hands-on, practical analytics and problem solving. You’ll load and process client data (often CSV files), clean and validate it, and systematically support monthly billing cycles. You’ll also help identify revenue leaks and support the team with statistical-style analysis and reporting.

You’ll collaborate with accounting, finance, sales, management, and occasionally clients, so strong communication skills and the ability to quickly summarize and relay information are essential. Understanding customer behaviors and business operations will help you succeed.

Desired Skills:

• 1–10 years of experience
• SQL programming experience and a passion for problem solving
• Experience with R, Python, or SAS is a plus.
• Data modeling/engineering experience to help identify revenue leaks.
• Ability to gather information on business operations and jump in socially to understand financial impact.

Day to day Responsibilities:

• Analyze revenue streams and reconcile invoices for a portfolio of clients.
• Create SQL tables from flat files and write efficient queries for large datasets.
• Validate and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate billing.
• Monitor transactions and data flows to proactively minimize discrepancies.
• Collaborate across departments and escalate disputes as needed.
• Gather and interpret metric data, communicate gaps and trends, and provide reporting.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for revenue streams and process documentation.
