Commercial Superintendent: (Must have 5 years construction superintendent experience)
NEW CONSTRUCTION and REMODELING
Commercial Construction Onsite Management experience with projects ranging from $1-50 Million. Schools, Churches, Detention Facilities, Manufacturing, Office, etc.
Main Job Task And Responsibilities - Coordinates and supervises all onsite construction project activities.
- Directs all field personnel, subcontractors, an material suppliers to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
- Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
- Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
- Understands the project plans and specifications, project layout.
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
- Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
- Maintains an organized and clean job site.
- May wear tool belt and perform misc carpentry work, steel erection, welding, and misc work.

Key Competencies - Very organized with a systematic approach to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
- A self-starter, highly motivated, and goal oriented individual.
- Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
- Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and costs.
- 5+ years hands on knowledge in building and construction projects >$1M.
- Ability to schedule and multitask.
- Tactful and mature demeanor with well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with, train, manage and supervise diverse personalities.
- Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects
- Projects may require travel
