About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a highly respected Omaha-based general contractor with a long-standing presence in the region. With decades of experience delivering K-12, higher education, municipal, healthcare, and commercial projects, they’re looking to bring on an experienced Construction Estimator to join their preconstruction team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to take ownership of bids on meaningful, community-focused projects across the Omaha area.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare detailed estimates for public and private sector projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and subcontractor pricing evaluations
• Develop bid proposals, budgets, and value engineering strategies
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and design teams during preconstruction
• Maintain and update cost databases, vendor relationships, and market pricing insight

What We’re Looking For

• 3–8 years of estimating experience with a GC or construction manager
• Strong familiarity with Omaha’s local subcontractor market
• Proficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage, Procore, etc.)
• Clear communicator with strong attention to detail and deadline awareness
• Experience with education, healthcare, or civic projects is a plus
