Job Title: Commercial Construction Estimator

Salary: Up to $130,000 + Benefits (DOE)

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join a reputable and growing commercial general contractor based in Miami, FL . This role is ideal for a sharp estimator with a solid background in commercial construction who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial construction projects including office buildings, retail, schools, and mixed-use developments
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and related documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
• Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
• Collaborate closely with project managers and preconstruction teams to ensure a smooth project handoff
• Contribute to value engineering, budgeting, and overall project planning
• Stay current with market conditions, construction methods, and material pricing

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction
• Proficient with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, OST, PlanSwift, Excel)
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and materials
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines
