Clinic Registered Nurse Opportunity - Raleigh, NC Location: Raleigh, North Carolina Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM A mission-driven public health organization in Raleigh is seeking a skilled and compassionate Public Health Nurse to join its team. This role focuses on delivering reproductive and preventive health services, empowering individuals and families through education, access, and high-quality care. As part of a collaborative clinic environment, you will provide confidential, trauma-informed services that support informed decision-making and wellness across diverse populations. Qualifications - Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina - Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience - Strong interest or background in reproductive health, women's health, or public health nursing - Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic setting with diverse populations - Proficient in patient education, documentation, and trauma-informed care Key Responsibilities - Deliver Family Planning services, including contraceptive counseling, STI screenings, and reproductive health education - Conduct patient interviews and obtain comprehensive health histories - Provide tailored education and counseling based on individual needs - Administer medications and perform lab testing as appropriate - Maintain and update program manuals, policies, procedures, and standing orders - Support other clinics as needed (e.g., Maternal Health, Immunizations, Adult Health) - Follow up on abnormal findings and coordinate timely referrals - Participate in public health emergency response efforts - Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers during procedures and patient care Holiday Closures - Three days for Christmas - Two days for Thanksgiving - New Year's Day Benefits At Amergis, wefirmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and weare happy to offer the following benefits: + Competitive pay & weekly paychecks + Health, dental, vision, and life insurance + 401(k) savings plan + Awards and recognition programs *Benefit eligibilityis dependent on employment status.
