What You Will Be Doing
• Engaging with K-8 students in a mentorship capacity, cultivating trust and fostering a mindset of limitless potential
• Leveraging AI and adaptive learning platforms to customize educational journeys—students advance at their individual pace while you facilitate discovery
• Creating and facilitating life-skills workshops (including public speaking, goal-setting, and collaboration) that equip students for long-term success
• Cultivating an environment of curiosity, ambition, and continuous growth—supporting students as they discover their strengths and passions

Basic Requirements
Career Coach key responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• Proven public speaking abilities, with a track record of engaging and energizing audiences
• Genuine interest in connecting with, inspiring, and motivating students in grades K-8
• 3 years of experience in coaching or mentoring children
• Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
• Commitment to working on-site at one of our campus locations: Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; Fort Worth, TX; or Scottsdale (Phoenix), AZ
• Availability to participate in a paid training program at our Austin, TX campus

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
