Our client, a global food company located just outside Moses Lake, WA is looking for a Buyer to join their team.

This position is responsible for managing maintenance and building services while focusing on safety, quality, and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on position.

What you will do in this role:

• Work with merchandisers to enhance procurement, sales and production planning.
• Negotiate and coordinate contracts for a defined client base.
• Provide marketing strategy education.
• Coordinate production programs to boost supply.
• Build and maintain relationships.
• Partner with farmers on oilseed production challenges and share best practices.
• Host engaging education sessions.
• Coordinate with technology firms and researchers to trial and promote new varieties of product.

What you will bring to the role:

• Degree in Agriculture or related field, with 4+ years of experience of purchasing.
• Must have experience in procurement in the food industry.
• Strong communicator with a talent for building relationships with industry partners.
• Detail-oriented multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
