Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate Attorney –| $180k–$250k BASE SALARY |– Chicago, IL
Aligned Talent Acquisition partners with several respected mid-sized and boutique law firms throughout Chicago and the surrounding metro area that regularly hire Bankruptcy and Restructuring attorneys.
This posting represents ongoing hiring needs across our client base as firms continue to expand their financial restructuring practices amid increased Chapter 11 activity and distressed transactions.
We’re connecting with attorneys in the 2–6 year range who have strong experience representing creditors, debtors, and trustees in bankruptcy and restructuring matters.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 proceedings
Draft pleadings, motions, and restructuring agreements
Conduct financial analysis and due diligence
Support senior attorneys in restructuring and bankruptcy-related litigation
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school; Illinois bar admission required or pending
2–6 years of bankruptcy or financial restructuring experience
Excellent analytical, writing, and advocacy skills
Strong academic credentials and a client-focused approach
Compensation
$180,000 – $250,000 base salary, depending on firm size and experience
