Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney

Description:

• We are seeking Attorneys for a highly respected Insurance Defense firm in Los Angeles. They offer a hybrid work environment, room for growth, and love work-life balance.

Daily Tasks:

• Manage a caseload of litigated matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other general liability cases.
• Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, discovery, and settlement agreements.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Conduct legal research and provide case evaluations and risk analysis.
• Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Collaborate with claims adjusters and clients to develop litigation strategy and provide timely case updates.

Qualification:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
