As an Aftermarket Product Support Sales Representative , your typical responsibilities include:

  • Increasing incremental parts sales by developing parts and service estimates and quotes as required.
  • Prospecting for new customers.
  • Coordinating with Parts Manager regarding customers, promotions, product needs.
  • Maintaining Parts On Site Cabinets.
  • Selling defined wear parts and promotional products.
  • Delivering Parts when URGENT.
  • Increasing incremental labor sales by coordinating with Service Manager regarding service quotes and customer concerns.
  • Selling inspection agreements, maintenance packages, and extended warranties.
  • Building customer loyalty by promoting and representing the James River organization.
  • Communicating customer problems via email to the managers responsible for resolving the problem.
  • Completing JDU CSR Certification path.
  • Developing a customer call schedule for the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Submitting call reports in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining customer machine lists and completing customer product support purchasing profiles.
  • Meeting product support sales objectives.

Qualifications include:

  • Experience selling parts and/or service plans, extended warranties, etc.
  • Experience in equipment industry in dealership service and/or parts department is required.
  • Experience in aftermarket sales in a related industry is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, timely follow up, ability to build and maintain rapport with customers and coworkers, and solid time management are required to be successful in this role.
