Description

We are looking for a Part-Time licensed aesthetician with a passion for skin care. The aesthetician is responsible for providing professional and skilled skincare services to clients. We are seeking candidates who have a thorough knowledge of skin anatomy and physiology, product ingredients, and the latest skincare techniques and trends. This role reports directly to the practice manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their skin type and concerns.
  • Develop personalized skincare plans and treatment recommendations based on client needs and preferences.
  • Perform facials, including but not limited to deep cleansing, exfoliation, massage.
  • Administer peels, and other advanced skincare treatments.
  • Work with our Provider team to create specific treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • May be asked to assist with medical assistant or front of house duties.
  • Address client questions, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly.
  • Educate clients on products to enhance their procedures.
  • Maintain client records and track treatment progress.
  • Follow all sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and products.

Requirements

  • Valid New Jersey state license to practice as an aesthetician.
  • 2+ years prior experience working as a licensed aesthetician
  • Prior work in a med spa or medical setting is a plus
  • Self-starter and team player.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatments.
  • Sales skills and the ability to recommend products effectively.
