Job Description

Sigma Defense is seeking Software Engineer I to augment the core team that develops and implements a variety of computer-based products for our military customers. This position is in support of programs related to Electronic Warfare Systems. The selected candidate will work in a structured, multi-disciplinary team environment in Fairmont, WV.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in software engineering or software development in a C++/Linux environment.
  • Experience with 3D modeling/animation.
  • Background in math or physics.

Computer Programs & Software:

  • Linux
  • C++
  • Python

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
  • Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive):

  • Development of requirements.
  • Development of design specifications.
  • Implementation of developed systems specifications.
  • Test plan and procedure development.
  • System testing.
  • Installation support.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
